"I've been surprised at the amount of criticism levelled at Greg Taylor that seems to have suddenly come out of nowhere this season. Seems to be the default position that he needs replacing.

Since so many have this opinion, there must be an element of truth to it. Maybe I've missed something? He was one of our best players last season. Not only domestically but he was solid and didn't look out of place at all in the CL.

When did this low opinion of him start? What's caused everyone to want him out of the starting line up? What did he do?

Genuinely curious as I feel like I'm out of the loop on this one."



"He not been on poor form. His role changes under Brendan from and Inverted wingback to a standard touchline hugging wingback. So he is less likely to take up those LCM and LCAM positions where he was basically an extra midfielder similar to McGregor.

But he also has a lot of critics who were never sold on him so the minute he is doing badly the old complaints resurface (just like Brendan). Those complaints are that he was a massive downgrade on Tierney (everyone would be). He was not a sexy signing because he is Scottish and from Kilmarnock, a similar quality foreigner from a similar level abroad would have been an exciting unknown. He is small and has always been vulnerable to being targeted by wide target men. He also came from an ultra defensive Killie team so he had to learn to get forward when he joined. He has also improved a lot over his time here, but some people don't get over their first impressions (Forrest suffers from that a lot too)."



"Taylor is a strange one for me. I like him on the ball, but off the ball he's still very tiny and lacks every physical attribute required for a traditional fullback.

Johnston on the other hand is tall, strong, fast, stamina for days. But on the ball he's more predictable than Taylor. Deffo can't thread a through ball like Taylor.

So we have two first team fullbacks that don't match. The tactics favour Johnston.

Taylor can still play the role, he can still be good. But he will need help and cover whenever he pushes forward. Starfelt was good at bailing him out last season. But that's a side effect of an attack minded FB."

Ako me opet natjerate prebacivati 10-15 postova....prvo leti onaj koji je pokrenuo offtopic...a onda vidimo za ostale

Profil je kakvog nemamo u ekipi. Ok, nije bolji igrač od Sučića i Mišića ali je jedan koji daje puno više agresive i defanzivne stabilnosti i tako omogućava drugačije taktičke varijante. K tome može igrati i u paru sa Mišićem i sa Sučićem. Na HNL razini je pokazao da može praktički sam obavljati defanzivne zahtjeve veznog reda kaj otvara drugima mogućnost da igraju ofenzivnije.

Trebali bi prestati gledati samo prvih 11 u smislu pojačanja. Realno Dinamo treba barem 16-17 igrača koji su u svakom trenu sposobni istrčati u prvih 11 bez da se osjeti na rezultatu. Em ozlijede i kartoni em ritam tri natjecanja.

Je ti razumiješ da ja ne pričam o sadržaju već o količini i načinu na koji uporno pišeš? Jel nijedno od 3000 upozorenja da ne pratimo što se piše već kako i koliko se piše ne dolazi do tebe? Još se onda ideš opravdavat.
